I wanted to depict a common roman scene, as we could see in the world I've re/created, the roman world of the small city of Conimbriga, 2000 years ago. She is Clarisse, and he is Carbone, sister and brother. This is the moment before the fight that this gladiator have to make. If he win - better to say: don't lose his life - during three years on continuous battles, he earns the freedom, and therefore, will be able to buy is sister from their master.

very cool. I love the detail you've added into the background. the Girl is very well done. but the right hand (her left) is slightly off somehow... I can't really place it.

I like it a lot, my only crit really is the girls hair I think is responsible soley for the hole in the ozone layer, and I don't mean Doc oZone either.

nice painting overall, good use of colors, solid work on the figures, nice details to complete the setting and the chracters. i'm not sure about this, but isn't there something off with the perpsective? or maybe my eyes are tired

check out the back wall in relation to the ground, and the side wall to the ground.

Yeah You're all right about that perspective: I didn't pay much attention to it, now that I see it, it's a pity, and I can not really correct it without redrawing everything. But hey, it's an old drawing of mine, but I still like it, that's why I put it here on gfx
